Brazil IT, why aren’t you here?

IT Decisions contributor Steve Brookman has recorded a short video offering advice to Brazilian technology companies looking for business outside of Brazil. The domestic economy may be booming, but there really is business elsewhere, and it’s not always where you might assume it will be.
Steve established the Latin America division of BT back in 2003 and went on to be the CEO of the main Nigerian telephone company, Nitel, so he has plenty of international business experience – including in Brazil.
In this video, Steve asks why more Brazilian technology firms are not considering Europe as a target market, with the UK as a springboard to the rest of the region. With more banks in London than in New York and a greater GDP in the EU than the US, Steve asks, why aren’t more of you over here doing deals in Europe?
