Don Tapscott: Thoughts on Brazil

Canadian digital media guru, Don Tapscott, was visiting Brazil yesterday to give a keynote speech at the 25th birthday party of Grupo TV-1 in São Paulo. He talked exclusively to IT Decisions about Brazil, revolutions, and the future for media.

In this video, Don Tapscott talks about:

  • How to engage Brazil with the changes he outlines in his book, Macrowikinomics
  • How to encourage and enable entrepreneurs in Brazil
  • How the music business has been the canary in the mineshaft for other industries
  • Mass media and the future for TV
  • Copyright and DVD piracy
  • Information ownership and data protection
  • Digital natives becoming decision-makers
