2012 Olympics role for ITD CEO

The past few days have brought good news on the blogging front for IT Decisions CEO, Mark Hillary.
Mark has been chosen to be a BT Storyteller at the London 2012 Olympic games. He will blog during the run-up to the games and will be there in person to blog events live as they happen. Competition for official blogging places was – as you can imagine – extremely tough, so we are delighted to show that Mark has been recognised as one of the most important British bloggers – worthy of a place at the Olympic games with his laptop and video camera.
He will be joined by other storytellers, including Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, physicist Professor Brian Cox and broadcaster Emma Freud.
Additionally, Mark’s personal blog won a major international industry award last week: the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network awarded him their 2011 Top Blogger accolade.
Though Mark’s blog is generally describing personal experiences related to business and life in Brazil, the judges felt that it offers a useful insight into the work of someone so deeply involved with the international IT industry.
