ITD Research: Brazilian CIOs and the cloud

In 2003, Nicholas Carr published his famous “IT doesn’t matter” article in the Harvard Business Review, predicting that technology would become as ubiquitous as electricity. With cloud computing making many of Carr’s predictions a reality, IT Decisions sought to investigate how close Brazilian organisations are to accessing “technology on tap”.
One of the activities IT Decisions has carried out over the last 12 months is collaborative research under the IT Decisions Research Network. This high-level community members include a multitude of chief information and technology officers, chief operating officers as well as IT directors and heads of IT working in a variety of sectors across the country.
