CIOs worldwide often talk about how “the business” does not appreciate how technology can be used as a competitive advantage. This ITD research report investigates how Brazilian companies are faring in that respect.
It is undeniable that IT has become a strategic necessity. Companies cannot function without it and information technology is often making the service of a company more efficient or competitive. But do Brazilian executives fully appreciate that fact?
In this IT Decisions research carried out collaboratively with a variety of Brazilian IT leaders from a range of different sectors, we explore what business managers think of IT, whether IT is delivering demonstrable benefits directly to the bottom line of the business, and how the technology executives are ensuring that the board knows what the IT department is really achieving.
